Veolia, a global specialist in water and wastewater technologies, has recorded €343 million in microelectronics bookings since the beginning of 2026. The total includes two semiconductor manufacturing contracts valued at a combined €243 million for ultrapure water production in Singapore and advanced wastewater reclamation in the United States. The first contract will provide ultrapure water for a new semiconductor fabrication facility in Singapore, while the second will deliver advanced wastewater reclamation and zero liquid discharge treatment at a manufacturing campus in the United States. Veolia did not identify the semiconductor customer or disclose the individual value of either contract.
Ultrapure water is critical to semiconductor fabrication, while the resulting wastewater streams require specialized treatment and reclamation technologies. The two projects span Veolia’s water technology capabilities from ultrapure water production through advanced wastewater treatment, reclamation and reuse. The systems are intended to support production continuity, improve resource efficiency and help the manufacturing facilities meet environmental requirements.

The contracts form part of Veolia’s GreenUp strategic plan, which identifies microelectronics as a priority growth market. The company is expanding its work with semiconductor manufacturers as new fabrication capacity increases demand for reliable ultrapure water supplies and advanced wastewater treatment infrastructure.

Veolia’s capabilities for semiconductor manufacturers include ultrapure water production, wastewater treatment and water reclamation, as well as local energy and hazardous waste management. The company has established a target of €1 billion in annual revenue from data centers and microelectronics by 2030. That goal covers its combined activities across both markets and is not a semiconductor-only revenue target. Veolia recorded consolidated revenue of €44.4 billion in 2025. The company employs approximately 215,000 people across five continents. During 2025, it supplied drinking water to 110 million people, provided sanitation services to 97 million people, produced 45 million megawatt-hours of energy and treated 64 million tons of waste.
